Question about shelving system

This is probably a dumb question, but anyway...
I bought a 5 shelf wire shelving system a while ago to place my cham cage on. I now want to make it taller, and I was told by someone that I could buy more poles to fit the corners, and just go upwards. I checked Home Depot's site, and I found some poles for the Honey Can Do brand. ( no idea if that's the shelves that I bought!)
How would this work exactly? I hate going to Home Depot unarmed with the right information, as I will be wandering around for hours! It's just irritating.
Hope you can help!
Thanks

Thanks for replying. I think I found the posts I need on Home Depot's website. I also talked to the shelf guy, and he concurred that all I had to do was add the new posts at the bottom, so that should be easy.
About $15 a pair, so not expensive.
I could buy a new shelving system but it still wouldn't be high enough, unless I buy a custom system, which is a lot more money. I think this will be fine, but thanks for the suggestion!
