Question for Opinions

yup. and you kinda answered a question I had but didn't ask: how far removed do they need to be from each other until it "safe"?(generation wise)
Thanks.

I think that linebreeding is specific to direct relatives no farther removed than grandparents and grandget. I could be wrong, though. I don't consider breeding second cousins and farther apart than that "linebreeding". I still would steer clear from it, however. There are too many nice individuals with perfect colors that are unrelated. :)

So very true...But for the rarer locales that many unrelated individuals are not come by easily...

idealy, i would think you'd at least one to skip a gentic gap or two..

to me you should always avoid sibling/parental/child breeding.

BUT, as kenya said second cousins, maybe even half siblings. its best to avoid line breeding like that because the more you inbreed, the higher chance of mutations and physical deformities occur.
