Question I bought my chameleon being a “male” but thinking it might be female

Hey I bought my panther chameleon gizmo about a month and a half ago “he” has shedded 2 times seince I’ve got him think he almost about 4 months old he about 5.5 inches long but I was wondering if it might be a female instead of a male “he” get blue cheeks when he relaxed and he a Nosy mitsio x Nosy be panther

First guess would be female, can´t see a bulge at his vent and the reading on the enclosure also says female. Odds are big that´s a female. If it´s a female are aware of the egg laying process of them? And the needed additional lay bin?

Your right, I just was gonna keep my mouth shut on this. Male symbol is a circle with an arrow pointing out the top right.

Your looking at the cloaca which is farther up the tail and this is where their vent it. This is not the bulge we talk about though. The bulge for the hemipenes is farther down the tail base.

It's very subtle at those young ages, and I've never gotten an answer on whether the flashlight method works on chameleons.
