I recently bought 2 4ft flukers fixtures with heat a bulb on each end and a 24in uvb n the middle.I was wondering if one of these would b sufficient enough to heat and give the proper amount of uvb if it is centered over 2 2x2x4 reptibree cages

Unless I'm reading this wrong, it would work for the UVB, but the basking lights would not be over the enclosure, so that wouldn't work for heating.

This sounds like a bad idea. Your talking about having 2 24" bulbs in the middle of each cage top. So you are lucky if even 10" of each bulb is over each cage, and its only going to be uv on the edge of the cage. If you cant take the fixures back, id set it up so 1 24" bulb is in the middle of each cage, and the basking bulb is in the other cage, and have one basking bulb socket no used in each fixture and just hanging over the edge of the cages.

I have a 4" double light fixture with a regular flourescent bulb and a reptiglo 5.0 UVB. I have this placed right on top of the side by side 2x2x4 cages (with divider). I also have a separate basking light for each cage. This has been working well, which reminds me it's time for a new UVB light in February/March. I will have had my veiled pair a year! :D

Well I got them really really dirt cheap.I couldn't pass um up.ill find a use for them somwere.thanks for all the input
