Hi, it's been a while since I've had a baby Cham well I had some questions. I just got my baby panther on Tuesday when should I start to handle him? Also what else can I feed him besides crickets? Like I know mealworms but I just don't know if there to big for him also he is almost 3 months in about a week. Thanks

I give them about a month before messing with them.

I don't offer other feeders until they are about 5-6 months old. And only as treats.

Most people will leave it at least a week, I don't think much more is necessary :) If you are careful and patient and he seems comfortable then a short interaction of hand feeding or getting him to walk on your hand is not going to hurt. More variety never hurts, as long as the insect fits into his mouth and isn't poisonous. The better the gutload the better the food though, and crickets are very convenient. Fruit flies are fun while your cham is still small enough :)

Thanks ! Will fruit flies get out of the cage tho? Like can they fit through the wholes of the screen?

It really depends on the size of the holes in the screen, but drop a piece of fruit inside and they will (mostly :)) stay inside even if they can get out. Flightless ones will be less likely to get out.
