Raindome GPH

Hello, I plan to order a raindome kit for a 2x2x4' cage. My question is what GPH nozzle to get, the .9gph or the 3gph. I do have a drain pan under the cage that will be plumbed into a 5 gallon bucket. The cage will have alot of plants, one really large pothos, 2 good size umbrella plants and maybe more...who knows. So, would it be better to get a .9gph setup and let it run for longer periods of time (a nice drizzle) or the 3gph for smaller amount of time (a nice heavy rain)? Thanks, Stephen

Are you planning to order the single nozzle RainDome or Low Profile RainDome (2 nozzle heads)? I prefer the two nozzle heads at .9 gph for a longer period of time so that chams have more time to clean their eyes and drink enough water. The Low Profile also covers a bit more cage area, so you water more plants and are more likely to stimulate drinking.

I think I will go with the low profile raindome, it looks like it would be a better fit over my cage. I plan to use two single t5 fixtures from lightyourreptile, one with a acadia bulb and the other with a grow bulb, so the single low profile raindome will fit better between the two light fixtures

Hey if you check in the sponsor section there is a black friday promo going on for aquazamp, it upgrades you to the lowprofile dome and free shipping! I just ordered mine last night and I can't wait for it to come in. I ordered it with the 3gph as I plan to only mist once/day in the morning and want to leave the plants nice and wet, and the "torrential" description of it on the site sounds interesting haha.
