WOW, no double WOW!!! Just how many chams are in there? I count at least 10 on one side. You did an absolutely fantastic job. Congratulations just doesn't see adequate.
Hey thanks all. Really really appreciate it. It was a lot of hard work, things that I had never taken on before. They are the 36" height cages. I'm actually in the process of ordering a bunch of 48"ers because there are males that are more than ready and need for the larger cages. They were all situated in my living room before, and I had just received a large import. Now, everyone will be properly taken care of. Everything is timer controlled, overhead lights as well as all cage lights and fan comes on in the morning. I blacked the window out, so it is complete darkness at night. Now the chams won't have any stress or distractions of our dogs, people, or television. Last thing I need to do is get the mist king going as I'm still hand misting 3 times a day. And need to get a generator in case of power problems. Hey, I really appreciate all the kind words all. I can't even describe how in LOVE I am with this room and set up. I just want to hang out in there all day.
Removed garage door.
Framed Door
Insulated New Wall, Attic, and all outer walls with blow in insulation.
Put Concrete down to even out floor.
Put sheetrock up and textured all walls.
Painted Ceiling and all walls.
Ran duct work from the main duct.
Added 9 outlets.
Added flooring.
I'm pretty sure that's about all of it.
@Scott- Yeah, it wasn't fun to dish out the money and work to do it. It surprisingly wasn't near the price I was hearing a garage conversion was on the internet, and I did almost all of it myself except for the electrical work. Besides just having the chams though, in our neighborhood, it'll add square footage and value to the house.
