Raise Up Enclosure

I am the type of person who enjoys building something rather than purchasing if I can. There are some really nice cages on the market but nothing that fit the bill so I started on a new system to fit our racks.
I am very happy with the results.

Each one is about 48" wide and divided into 4 sections. I can remove dividers easily and adjust it into 1-4 individual cages depending on need.

I love how the white turned out. It really brightens everything up and the Chams seen to love it!

Hi,

All of the supplies can be found at a locale Home Depot or Lowes with the exception of the walls.

The walls are made of 1/8" expanded PVC. I went to a local plastics shop for those. A 4x8 sheet was about $40 and really eat to work with. It cut very nice with a razor.

The other materials were 3/4" hardwood that I sealed after cutting. The hinges screws and handles are all stainless steel. I also used a white composite moulding on the visible parts of the frame and between the aluminum screen doors.

Very cool. What size screen window framing did you use and what type of mesh on the front doors.

I like the white. It looks crisp.

Would love to see some pics of the building as your going. Thinking about building something like this when I upgrade when bigger size is needed. Right now have all screen enclosure and right now in nj hard to keep my humidity up and looking for something like this with more solid walls
