He was holding his mouth open a lot the past 2 days. So I decided to take him out and check for RI well he was not a fan of the flashlight. So much so even when I put it down he still lunged and hissed at my right hand. He was fine 2 minutes later. This is the first time he has ever done that. He got a new stick and ever since he has become a little territorial. Hope it's just a faze. Oh and no RI he was just being weird Bodhi did the same thing at this age.

you should count your self lucky that your cham will let you even hold him. my cham hates me and hisses every time i get him out.

How old is he? He may be feeling his hormones or settling in to his new territory and deciding to defend it from you. Whether its a phase or not remains to be seen. Some "teenage" chams mellow out a bit as they get older but some don't.

Well he has always been my buddy so it's not like him. I think he just didn't like the flashlight being shinned in his mouth. Once he was out he was fine and did the norm and climbed on my head. And if I leave the door open he still comes out to help me play call of duty. (he likes to sit on the headphones) I just hope he doesn't get mean.

Pulled the stick

Well he tried to bite me again. Hissed and lunged so I pulled the stick. He is now grounded, I will try to put it back in a week or so maybe that will help.
