Ready to lay eggs?

Hello guys.

So little Lizzy is becoming a lady, and I think she is getting ready for lay eggs for the first time.
I had a lay bin ready for her. With misture ofsubstract and play sand. Size of theblay bin is 14x8x6 deep. Has a small plant there as I read they like tonlay eggs close to roots.

Their colous are like the ones in the picture for a while now, is been constant like this for about a week, except when she isnsleeping that the colours are normal light green

Food wise. She was eating OK until yesterday, that was first time she reject food.

She go up and down her enclouser (2×2×4) but everytime she get to the bottom she go up again, never staying there to check. She can reach the lay bin using the side of the cage and other 2 brunchs, but she manage to miss it. Lol.

I have covered the bottom half of the cage because 1- i read they like a bit of privacy and 2- my dog go there and start to bother the lady when she goes in the bottom.

How long can take from the time she show those colors for hwr actuallyblay the eggs?

I will attached some pictures

I have no experience with females especially laying but just want to say she is beautiful!!! Good luck I know she this is a stressful process. 💚

IMHO, your female isn’t even showing mature colours yet. Females are receptive to mating when pale-blue (robin’s egg shade) spots appear on their body along with mustardy brown splotches.

What substrate is in the egg laying bin along with the sand?

Hello.
Just regular pot plant nothing fancy lol..

She show some yellow mustard patterns few times.. around 2 weeks ago. But for just few hrs..

She do have 1 tinny thing on her back. I am not sure what is it.. that show up about 1 week ago.. look like a mole.. appear out of nowhere. Not sure if this is stressing her out and that is why she show the colors.

She have shed like 2 times in a row. And that appear after the second shed. Maybe is related..

What is in the egg laying container? Sand and what else?
Do you have bark chips in the bottom of the cage?

Do you have a photo of her with the mustard yellow splotches/spots?

Do you have a clearer photo of the thing on her back. It might be a papilloma.
