I’m no expert, so take my advice with a grain of salt but I believe as long as there’s a temperature gradient in the cage And the ambient temperature is 72-80 I think that should be fine

Yes, turn the basking light off. You might need an AC unit.

Good to know...it’s hitting late 90’s-100 in NC some days (and I hate it aaaahhhh) so even with a brand new central air unit it’ll get 75 inside (don’t like that either) but glad you asked something I wondered about too
