Like what? Do you mean their natural life in the wild? Their physiology? Behavior? Evolution? Mythology and folktale? A search on the species (use the scientific name Chamaeleo calyptratus) might get you started. Considering that most people outside our little community still think chams can match a checkerboard tablecloth on demand it won't be too hard to surprise them.
So, if you do a search on "fables or myths about chameleons" you may come up with quite a few. But, veileds are native to a different area than most other species you you may need to add in Saudi Arabia and Yemen to filter it down.
I think the average person knows nothing about chameleons, so any info you provide would probably be new and interesting to them. This is the link from our care resources which has some general info on them. Maybe you have seen this already. https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/veiled/nk on here for Veild Chameleons.
Everyone I show my chameleons to are super fascinated, as they have never seen one in person. They always ask a million questions(most I can answer lol) and always are very intrigued with them
