Red/Blue Ambilobe Breeding Question

Ok, so here this goes and I'll do my best to explain what I'm asking as I am rather clueless when it comes to breeding. I'm looking to add a female F. pardalis to the "stables" along with my male.

I'm partial to the red background blue body ambilobes such as
Yoda:

from lancecham:

Evo's father from Chris aka CleanLineChameleons

so basically I would like to further this type of panther morph... although from basic college bio I'm not sure all the children would come out like this? Do I just look for a female from the same background? I'm not sure how this will work.

Dominant and Recessive Alleles:

And while I understand there may not be a straight direct answer, I'm looking for any clarification or enlightenment ...

Yeah, the ones above aren't RB BB Ambilobes. The picture Royden listed, is a perfect example of one. Pam from Pam's Chams has my favorite! You gotta check out her album! Meka Jr. is INSANE!!!

Personally I would consider the chameleons you posted to be "high red blue bars". They have a lot of red but still the bright green background that will likely fire up yellow.

This is what I'd call a true red body blue bar.

mm ok I'm ok with calling them anything :)

lol but they aren't a hybrid of say blue bars x red bars, right?

Hope I don't sound dumb, but I'm trying to grab any info I can.

edit:
ok ok
so no hybrids. I'm figuring it out.

More like human skin color traits than any dominate/recessive.

Thanks guys

I have a quick question...kind of pertaining to this subject...has anyone ever seen a breeder WC red body blue bar? I have looked and look and only seen one WC Ambilobe with a red body and he was red body with some blue in his barring but nothing like the captive ones pictured. Can someone find pictures...where are they all coming from?

Chris

Mr. Ambilobe is more like the "High red, blue barred" species I was talking about

and from www.chameleonsonly.com
http://chameleonsonly.com/mena-ombilahy.htm

"Mena-ombilay"
(Red Bull)

OMG!!! The blues and reds on Mena-ombilahy are outrageous! A rare and hard to produce "Ambilobe" color form.
His pattern, coloration and unique look, make him an all around favorite guy.
We are proud and excited to be able to offer his very first little ones!

"hard to produce" huh?
