These are pics of a Red sholder hawk that lives in my backyard they have been coming back to nest now for 3 years !!

Just lovely!! There is a family of hawks that have lived close to my house that I see when I'm out walking. I watch the parents every year teaching the "kids" how to dive, etc. I love watching large birds. Very nice pics!

Oh, YES! A friend of mine had his male panther cham outside. He set him in a small bush in the yard to get some pics of him. Unfortunately, he watched through his lens while the cham got plucked out by a hawk. Sorry to be so grim, but yes, do watch them during outside time.

Incredible! I don't see too many hawks near me. I am just on the cusp of being too close to the city. A short 20 minute drive will put me by quite a few of them. That second shot is really amazing. Do you have a bigger copy of it? It would make an AWESOME desktop image.

Nice job. I am not familiar with the Red Shoulders as I am the Red Tails that we have out here in the Wild West. I am guessing the RS are smaller? Also I don't see the white bib on the front. You said the juvenile came back so it makes me want to think they hunt in packs like the Harris Hawk of AZ? I use to do falconry, so I am a raptor nut.

I have a hawk in my backyard too, they come back every year, but I can never get a decent picture cause my camera is horrible but it's really cool to watch them.

at least they cant fly way with a cham
