Refurbishing old cage ideas

I has this cage set up a year ago had an alt fire and never set it back up I think it's time. ny ideas this is what I got.

Looks pretty cool. Only thought I have is how well sealed is the wood. Maybe go over it with ValSpar Urethane or some sort of plastic sealer to be sure.
When you start trying to get humidity level up it could cause molds or warp the wood. Where does water drain to? Looks like you'll need new light fixtures, too. Good Luck! Keep us posted. :rolleyes:
 
It's not very sealed at all thanks I'm going to do that that's y I love posting thing on this forum you can never have too much extra input. No drain I was gonna add that as for lighting I also have this dual top

I just got it Chilean over one of my glass cages for the time being to nice of a light to leave on storage even tho it does look redid on this cage.
