relaxed sitting?

i'm not sure about what my guy has been doing, but he very much enjoys sitting in a peace lily we have. right now his tail is all spiraled up and he is the same colour he gets when he sleeps. he seems to only really be hanging on with his two back feet and his right front hand. his left hand is just kinda hanging with the elbow on his back knee. he seems quite relaxed, but my veiled never did that kind of sit. he really never let go of the branches for the most part. sleeping colour is relaxed right?

depending on the time and lighting by the sounds of it he is sleeping. and from what i understand if they are sleeping during they day then they are sick and should see a vet

it was around 7 pm when he was sitting like that. and his eyes were open looking around. sitting in the middleish of the plants leaves close to a lamp.

My veiled Fred will sit sometimes... he'll even hold his 'knee' and just kinda look around.

I think he's just sitting however he feels... I wouldn't worry about it unless hes doing something unhealthy.

My Fischer's has always engaged in what we sometimes call "Yoga"...he gets himself into a pose and just hangs there looking around. Sometimes it seems like he's trying to discover just how little he can hold onto without falling. I don't know if it's typical of the type of chameleon, but we sort of made peace with it.

My chams always seem to curl up for bed a good hour or half hour before lights out. Maybe he was just winding down for the night.

I agree with Kingjulian, and he is probably winding down for the evening and selecting his place where he is going to sleep. I have never seen mine curl his tail up during the day only when he is getting ready for bed. You said it was 7 pm so I am assuming the lights were getting ready to go out pretty soon. Mine will usually pick his spot for the night about half hour to hour or so before he actually falls asleep and then curls up his tail in doing so. As long as it is not in the middle of the day I would say that he is fine and normal.

My Fischer's generally keeps his tail curled, at least a bit... When he's hanging by a vine in a vertical pose, his tail is completely curled.
