All I can tell you about Petco and this has nothing to do with this issue. I will not and will never buy anything from them. Horrible customer service and that goes to the top of their food chain.

Completely agree! I was told i have amazing customer serivice, the best they've ever seen, and all i could think is this.

I haven't done anything special, im genuinely interested in what the customer is doing, i'm not rude, and i show a little common courtesy.

This should be normal human behavior.

Not Amazing customer service.

my friend JUST left like 4 minutes ago to go pick up the veiled he'll message me in about 2 hours when he's home so i can go over and sex it for him, he has a vet appointment tomorrow to get it some calcium shots and it will spend the night in a ten gallon with a cup full of calcium rich gutloaded crix. he had plans of putting it with his other veiled in its huge enclosure, but im trying to talk him out of it..my birthday is coming up, so if its a boy, ill try and convince him to give it to me i have an empty 30 gallon and have successfully positioned the lights to create airflow..if it was to climb to the top of his current veileds enclosure and fall..it would more than likely die..the enclosure is about 5 inches from the ceiling and goes to the floor..its huge!

It most likely wouldnt die. But it would/could cause fractures to his/her ribs and legs. He needs a small screen cage for now with a towel on the bottom to absorb any falls he/she may take. He/she prob needs a good long misting session Im sure they didnt mist him/her at petco. At least not enough for optimal hydration oppurtunities.

There is an active breeder in my town that sales veileds to a pet store which doesnt know nothing about cham husbandry and they charge 180 for a 3 month there should be a license requirements for the sale and breeding of chameleons!

well, the veiled is now in my friend's hands, he said the legs look pretty bad, but only the vet and time will tell how bad, and the girl who had bought it from petco had it housed in a ten gallon, no uv, bark substrate and she made him buy the whole setup..he said when he got it, the tank looked like it was half full of water -.- poor thing..but on the good note, its hissing like crazy while he's trying to get it situated, lol, means it still has some fight left in it
