Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care? She's a female Jackson's chameleon and has been in my care for about a month.
Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon? Maybe once a week.
Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders? Crickets mostly, was feeding a superworm as a snack every other day. I give her a dusted cricket w/o d3 once a week, and vitamins and cal w/d3 once a month. Crickets are gutloaded with carrots, oatmeal, apples. I feed her 20 mins after her lights come on.
Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule? ^
Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking? I mist her 3-5 times a day and she has a dripper that drips 2 drops every 10 seconds.
Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? Since Ive had her she's had good brown/black poo but white/orange with clear slimey stuff? Haven't got her tested yet or had a fecal done.
History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you. Got her from Petsmart (yeah, yeah I know...)

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions? 18x18x24 Exo terra bottom with a 17x17x20 screen addition to the top. So 18x18x44
Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule? Repti glo 5.0 uvb bulb, and a 40w florecent bulb for basking spot. 12 on 12 off 8am - 8pm
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps? 80 up top by the basking spot and 72ish on the bottom. 72 is what my apt ac is set to so that's about as cold as it gets.
Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity? Stays no lower than 50%. I mist 3-5 times a day and have 2 live plants and soil covered with screen and then flat rocks on top of it to keep humidity and stop my drainage problem.N
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind? Umbrella plant and pothos plant.
Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor? It's in my dining room where we don't eat, tucked I the corner. I do have a dog and cat but they usually don't play in that area.
Location - Where are you geographically located? North Carolina.

Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about. Have noticed she's stopped hunting lately, well in front of me atleast, she used to eat in front of me. I've seen her drink from the dripper off a leaf once in front of me. She's got a slimey unriante, and has been closing her eyes later during the day. Usually 1hr or so before lights out. Help?! Please!?

Well I just misted her one final time tonight and she just drank quite a bit of water so that's a good sign.

You dust your crickets once a week with Calcium w/o D3 and the other supplements once a month. This is far less than we do here. We generally feed our adults lightly dusted (calcium w/o D3) prey every other day, the babies get dusted prey every day. We dust with vitamins and/or Calcium with D3 once a week.

We do have healthy Jacksons here, but mostly we keep panthers and veileds. So maybe I am wrong to dust mine so often but I am wondering if perhaps you should be giving her supplements more often than once a week?

See originally I was dusting daily but read a couple threads were people said they only dust daily and monthly. Maybe I'll switch back to daily.

I believe your fine with the supplements, Im pretty sure veiled and panthers you dust more and Jackson's far less.

for veileds and panthers its calcium without d3 every feeding, calcium with d3 twice amonth, multivitamin twice a month.

OR repashy every feeding.

Is she still pooping? If she's pooping she's eating. While you've been fortunate to get to see her hunt, she's not always going to be that accommodating.

My concern is that she might be pregnant. Can we see pictures of her?

Sure thing.

She's still pooping so that's good. Just peace of mind to see her.

I agree I am pretty sure she is gravid. Mine looked like that not too long ago and just had 10 babies the other day. They tend to slow way down on eating before giving birth and may get quite grumpy and are not as active. Make sure that she is getting plenty of water and the humidity is up. I would turn the dripper up to about 1 drop a second. Also make sure the temps do not get over 80. If I were you I would start to prepare now and get some colonies of feeders going or you will be spending a lot of $$ on feeders for the young ones. Also make sure and get the baby cage ready. Trust me the last thing you want to do is you see babies running around and you have nothing as you will need to separate the babies right away. If you have any specific questions feel free to pm me.

Oh wow ha. Didn't even think about her being prego. She was in the tank at petsmart with what seemed to be a younger male so It could be a possibility. Ill start colonizing I guess just in case and I have a little 20x20x20 cube screen enclosure I could put them in. This is kind of exciting. I appreciate all your replies, I'll keep everyone updated and am open to any ideas and info.

Truly greatful!

Congrats, I agree that babies are in your furture. I personally would krrp with the dusting schedule you are using. I no longer keep Jackson's but that is close to how I supplemented them. With a Jackson, less is best. Jmo

Alright, thanks for clearing that up and for your reply :).

I think she is too young to be gravid. I dont think she looks gravid really.

When was the last time she had a shed?

Could you possibly clarify this bit ZPavDesign?

How much is she eating, of what, on what days, exactly?

I really recommend adding some greens, squash, and cricket crack, and taking out the oatmeal in the gutload.

Do you have any recent pictures of her not in a "balled-up" position?
