Reptibreeze vs. diy cages

I am buying a cage for a male veiled. Going for a 24" x 24" x48" screen cage and have narrowed it down to a reptibreeze or one from DIY cages. Both are about the same price. What's your opinion between the two and why? I want to get a misting system and set dome lights on top. This is my first Chan and I don't want to have to get another cage later. Let me know what u think!

They are very similar in design and quality but visually I think the DIY cage looks much better in the brushed aluminum finish.

Also I think the DIY is cheaper

The reptibreeze cage i had back in the day rusted over time. The DIY cages i have are still going strong.

DIY. Unfortunately they cost a little more but as other people have said reptibreeze unfortunately for me rust! I have 6 reptibreeze and 4 DIY, as I have been slowly shifting over to DIY.

I've got both and contradictory to what others have said, I am a big fan of the Reptibreeze and will continue to order them over the DIY. That being said, there is nothing wrong with the DIY, but my reptibreeze's have been problem free which is a big check in my books!

One thing I did have to mention is although they do rust, Reptibreeze has excellent customer service for the size of their business. I was shipped a bad cage from a vendor (broken during shipping) and I emailed reptibreeze because the vendor kind of blew me off and reptibreeze sent me a replacement within 2 weeks.

I received a new 36" DIY last week and the design has changed. For example, they know longer use screws to hinge the bottom door, just plastic pegs. The front door did not fit nearly as snug. Finally, it is no longer just the aluminum, it is almost as if it is a grayish color. In many ways it looks like a repurposed repti breeze.

Pretty disappointed and won't buy them again.

Where did u get the cage at if i may ask. I was going to get an aluminum
Thanks in advance

I just ordered 2 new large enclosures with drainage trays from our new sponsor Dragon Strand. I have just destroyed my DIY cages (operator failure) but one thing I did notice was the screen pulling off the sides and the screws on the doors were really loose after I had taken it down and put it back up.

I think I am going to like the drainage with the Dragon Strand enclosures, I am pretty tired of trying all the crazy drilled holes and buckets...I am going back to old time sucking up the water with the shop vac. I like that the enclosures sit on top of the drainage trays so there are not open sides for bugs to get into and go under the enclosures.

I will update after I have them set up.

But take a look at his stuff they are really nice looking and we have members who commented on them when he became a sponsor that they are good quality.
