Reptile room visual divider ideas?

Well, I just moved into the new apartment and unfortunately the four cham cages didn't fit in the reptile room side by side, so I have two on one wall and two on the other and they stare right at each other from across the tiny room. So obviously the chams can see each other and it's causing stress between the panthers.

I have a temporary remedy for now, but I don't know what to put up as a more permanent solution. The apartment is rented, so I don't want to put too many holes or such into the place, but maybe hang a light curtain from the ceiling that runs right across the cages?

Does anyone have any other ideas? Something cheap perhaps? Mind you the room really is small, there isn't more than 3-4 feet from one cage to the one across from it. So I can't put up a room divider or something like that because I'd have no room to open the cage doors.

I say just mount a curtain rod from the ceiling and hang a nice shower curtain or if you have an extra window covering laying around use that. Wont need more than a cpl of holes to mount the rod. And you can pull it back when you need it out of the way.

or, if it won't be getting wet, how about a nice sheer curtain? Some of them are quite decorative (if you care LOL).

Are the back of the cages covered? If the backs are covered you could move them to the middle of the room almost back to back with each other and they would not see each other. Then you could just move around the around them like a museum display.

Although, the room divider or sheet is much easier.

I like the center of the room idea but a variation on that might be to turn each set of 2 back to back then all four would look in a different direction. If space is limited the back to back will most likely take less space. Let us know how you handle it.

The back to back idea is pretty good, but I'm afraid the room is too small! I'd have to do some measuring, but I don't think I'll have room.

I think I will look around for a curtain rod and a sheer shower curtain or something. I actually already have one in mind from Target that I think will be perfect. I'd use a room divider but I like the idea of a curtain that I can slide open and closed.
