Do you guys all use this with your misters and drinking water. I've been using it with my water but I'm not sure if I need it. I was reading on it and it says there is calcium and other stuff in it.

I just use distilled water :). Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the water conditioner supposed to make tap water safer?

If you want to use pure water... and I believe it is the best. Buy a Reverse Osmosis unit. I believe you can pick one up for like a hundred bucks. The bests place to get them are online saltwater fish stores. You hook it up next to your hot water heater and pick up a trash can or another barrel. It's really not as complicated as you may think. In the long run, it will save you money. It will save you a lot of money. Figure if you pay one dollar per gallon of water and if you use one gallon a day... It will pay for its self in a little over three months, and you will have PURE WATER all the time. Reverse Osmossis Units are also known as RO units.
If this sounds like something you are interested in you can PM me and I can recomend the best website to get one from.

Also, if you decide to go this rout, your misting nozzels will never clog. This is because there will be nothing in your water to clog your nozzels.

It depends

there are still trace amounts of chemicals in tap water I use tap water for my cham but I add repti safe by zoo med to purify the water before I give him the water

Can you use aquarium water conditioner?
I think that the answer would be no. I make my own reverse osmosis water with one of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DOG63OY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which very easily hooks up to my kitchen sink. Using Mist Kings, I need to avoid things that would clog them up. Before getting a mist king though, I did use ReptiSafe and would also let the water sit to gas off. My tap water is disgusting in taste and I’m not going to give any of my animals something that I won’t drink.
