Reptisun 5.0?

I need to get a UVB bulb for my veiled. I have looked online and so far most people are saying Reptisun 5.0. I have a dome light fixture and with an "All living things" 50 watt UVA bulb. I found a 8-1/2in compact florescence bulb 5% UVB 30%UVA. Will this work for my 2 month old veiled? Her cage is 16inX16inX24in all screen.

no just get a uvb if the other bulb is going to put out uva. You will have two bulbs giving off heat. You want want for heat (uva) and one for uvb.

Actually, the reptisun 5.0 produces both: http://www.reptilesupply.com/product.php?products_id=465

Contains the highest amounts of both UVB and UVA wavelengths (according to an independent laboratory spectral analysis.) The UVB wavelength helps to prevent or reverse Metabolic Bone Disease in green iguanas as well as other species of lizards in captivity. Strengthens and improves shell growth on all captive turtles and tortoises.
UVA wavelength increases appetite, physical activity, helps to induce reproductive behaviors and is beneficial to the psychological well-being of captive reptiles and amphibians.

funny you should post this cause after I did that, I was going to go research cause I started thinking that yes there are bulbs that produce both and maybe do not necessarily give off heat. Got side tracked and just getting back to the post. So thank you!!! So the op, I apologize that bulb should be fine!

You know I got your back! ;)

Ok just to be clear the Reptisun 5.0 compact florescent will be fine to trade out with the all living things bulb? I have a dome not a strip light fixture and wasn't sure if I was ordering the right thing or not. Thank you!

It would appear so:

"Product Description ReptiSun® 5.0 - Perfect for all tropical species of reptiles and amphibians! 5% UVB Output, 30% UVA Output, FULL SPECTRUM. The new ReptiSun® Compact Fluorescent lamps use a special UVB transmitting quartz glass for maximum UVB penetration. Cool ..."

ok wait a second....you are going to use the 5.0 compact for uvb..check...but you also need a heat source so continue to use the allliving things for your basking bulb. Add the 5.0 and you should be good to go. To my knowledge the Reptisun compacts do not give off heat just like the tubes. So the answer is you need TWO bulbs and two domes. The reptisun is not a combo basking and uvb, however there are some bulbs that are like the Powersun.
