Thanks we still have him quarantined from our other cham just incase anything else pops up but so far he is doing great his eyes are starting to pop, he's taking treatments really well too. Were still feeding him by hand cause he still isn't eating on his own but I'm sure that will come

I wouldn't believe a word that past owner told me, it is too much a shame that he could not be held responsible for the terrible and horrific care he did when he had him, he should be made to pay all vet bills and care.....it just makes me sick when I hear of the care some of these chams have been given by past owners.....I know some people just get too far in debt with some of the care and bills and have to give them up, but don't wait till the poor creature is so close to death.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to report the guy... He didn't even give him water he said he thought the only water the needed was from what the crickets drank... We got the cham and habitat for 300, and I still can't believe he even charged us.. We were under the impression he was in good health. but I love this guy now and am so dedicated to him. I'm glad we got him from that guy at all

I know I absolutey love this place !! Taking care of Rex has been a lot of work and very discouraging at times, but such great people on here and lots of support help the battle

Starting to get discouraged that Rex won't eat on his own .. When I get his mouth open and put a bug in he eats just fine.. But he won't hunt on his own

Oh o.o yeah I would worry too but that's just cause I'm a worry wart I really would just keep doing what you are doing, he'll come around in his own time ^^ he just might be slow

YAY for you and Rex. I wouldn't worry about him not eating on his own for now. Wait til he's healthy and active. Then you can work on that. He's conserving energy and healing right now. Later he'll just be plain spoiled. LOL
