Quick question , do males usually mate for the majority of their lifes , do any of you notice your males slowing down ? if so what age should I retire him ?

last year he was chasing females !! this year hes been lazy and not showing much interest ...I mean he still gets the job done but not like before !

he's about 3 years old now . ill post pic's when Im off work , I wanna see if you guys think hes fat

Weight is kinda relative based on the chams size and genetics so theres no definitive answer. Some of the best ways to determine if there is excess fat is by the cheeks, casque plates, and base of the tail. The cheeks look ok, the casque plate looks a little chubby (see how the top of his head kinda looks like a butt?) and cant tell for the tail

How much does he weigh? As daesie said that won’t determin if he’s fat I’m just curious. I have read that adult male panthers should be around 150-180 grams but Lennon is about 209 grams and he’s doesn’t appear to be fat.

Yeah it is genetics, total length tip of nose to end of tail, and weight... So I have a Male Veiled. He is a little over a year and 126 grams at about 14 inches long total. He is a chunker and on a diet because his casque buldges out the back and slightly on the sides. His legs are a bit thick too lol.

Ya he does but I honestly don’t even know I haven’t tried to measure him I’m like 2 years. I should do that. I think he’s probably about 16-18 inches. Typing this out kept making me laugh cause it sounds weird

I just ordered a kitchen scale !! I will keep you guys updated !
