review my cage

Here’s two more links:

This will tell you exactly where to place your basking branch from the uvb bulb- you want a UVI of 3 at the top of your cham’s back when he’s on his basking branch-, exactly when to replace your uvb bulb- when the UVI is cut in half to 1.5-, and is the only way to know if a uvb bulb is defective!)

I just have one more question sorry 😅. How do you suggest I feed my baby chameleon horned worms as they look pretty big

If they are too big don’t feed. 😬 unfortunately horn worms bite so some cut the heads off but they may still be too big for your little one.
And to add variety to the chameleon s diet what worms or other feeders do you suggest because currently the main diet is crickets with some horned worms (1 or 2 a week) and some meal worms (like 2-4 a week)

Can you get silkworms? Frams chams is a great provider. Bsfl are good too. I’ve just introduced those myself. 2 chams like them, 2 don’t. I have one who loves grasshoppers. Those are healthy too. Wild ones I’d be wary of due to insecticides. But there is grasshopper breeders. I also have a roach colony. Dubias.

There are never too many questions, we want to help you with anything/everything you need! With baby chameleons, you’ll order either hornworm eggs or freshly hatched hornworms online to get ones that are small enough to safely feed. They also have a strong grip, so only feed them in a smooth bowl or cup or hand feed them

Now you’re asking my favorite question haha! The possibilities are almost endless, ever more so as he grows! At his current size, you can order 1/4” (size for all feeders I’m listing except for blue and green bottle fly spikes- spikes mean larvae) grasshoppers, black soldier fly larvae, green and/or blue bottle fly spikes, silkworms, hornworms (treat only or for a hydration boost), wax worms (treat only), superworms (treat only), butter worms ( treat only, some chameleons have reactions to them, so if you decide to feed them, do so at your own risk), and roaches! Dubia roaches aren’t legal in all states, and a lot of chams don’t even like them (they don't move enough to trigger a feeding response), so here are some roach options (not nearly all) that are commercially available: discoid, Turkistan/red runner, ivory or orange headed, horseshoe crab, and green banana roaches (the only roach that can climb or fly in this list is the green banana)! If he’s still small enough, you can also feed bean beetles and fruit flies for extra variety and enrichment!

Check out dubiaroaches.com for feeders. I love them. Have never had an issue with them. They are fast shipping and so nice. Great quality. You can get the small size horn worms from them and they should be small enough for your guy. They send tinyyyy ones when you order the small.

You want a vertical terrarium. Anyways... What you have now is ok for now. I've seen these babies grown in very tiny spaces (retail). You will want to upgrade obviously. I feed crickets and only crickets. It's all she will eat. Had her for 3 months now. Keeps growing and appears healthy/happy.
