RIP Arnie "The Man"

My first chammy Arnold, passed away some time in the night. He was 4 1/2 and looking pretty rugged the last couple of weeks. The vet said he was getting old and there wasn't anything I could do. Necropsy is not intended.

Doug and I are saddened at his loss as he was our intro into the fantastic hobby of chameleons and he will always be remembered.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my first Panther "Richo" to a vet that gave him a shot and didn't know what he was doing. I learned a very valuable lesson that day. I actually buried him at the beach and put rocks on his grave and cried.

Naomi; I am so sad to hear about Arnie.....I can barely hold back the tears. My heart goes out to you. He was such a beautiful boy. Here's a couple pictures we made of Arnie when we were down for a vist a couple months ago.

I'm deeply saddened to hear this news :'(. I'm glad I got the chance to see your collection and thank you for the warm welcome. I hope Donnie can be as beautiful as his father was, may he rest in peace.

BocaJan,

I am so sorry that you lost your first, and probably most loved chameleon.
he looked so awsome. I'm also sure that you treated him the very best and he lived a great life with you.

my prayers are with you and Arnie.

Harry

I too am very sorry to hear you lost Arnie. From the photos I can tell he was very beautiful, stunning colouration on him. Remember you can save a chameleon from illness but you can't save them from old age:(

I am so sorry for your loss. He was an amazing chameleon and i am positive he had an amazing life with you and Doug. I really enjoyed seeing him last weekend, he looked amazing. Jann thanks for sharing some pics. I really wish i got to pay more attention to him. R.I.P Arnie

Sorry you lost him.:( There's somthing extra special about your first cham. Having been there myself, it's not a nice feeling at all. You gave him a long and happy life and he has given you plenty of memories to remember him by. Rest in peace Arnie. Thinking of you, Tiff x

I have 2 boys and 4 girls that he left behind. He fathered 4 clutches from different females. He was a stud! Loved the ladies.

He had the prettiest blue/green/and yellow coloration. But of course he was mind so I'm prejudiced.

So sorry for your loss. Did he leave any offspring behind?

So sorry to hear you lost your first boy. He sure was a amazing looking fella. He had a great life and i am sure you will always have fantastic memories of him. R.I.P Arnie
