:( My poor baby... He was the one with the attitude, the feisty cham I've always wanted. Always remember him for having the prettiest shade of blue. He died in my arms on the way to the vet... he looked like he was in such pain the last few hours of his life. Ever seen a grown man cry? I'm doin it right now...

O No man I am so sorry:( really really sorry I fill for you man.
 
oh no :( My deepest condolences to you. You gave him a good life, I am so sorry it was so short.
This is so sad, RIP CASH...
 
so sorry for your loss. Yes, I have seen a grown man cry and it is understandable as we get very attached to our pets. Atleast your little guy is suffering no longer. If you don't mind me asking, he was quite young and I am curious why he passed. If you don't want to get into it, I understand. RIP Cash.
 
The sky and the moon looked beautiful tonight...I have a feeling he made it to Heaven alright. Thank you guys for all the support... I just wish he had lived a longer happier life. Worst feeling in the world to have a pet die in your arms... watching him in pain before dying was the worst feeling I have ever felt in my life.. :( I can't even bring myself to look at the empty cage. Sorry for ranting I'm still in disbelief this all really happened and I can't help but feel like I failed him. I buried him in the backyard under a small tree. Wish I could have done something more to help... I just keep thinking back to what I could or should have done differently..maybe he would still be here with me.
 
So, so sorry for your loss. No need to be sorry for "ranting." Of all the places to express your sorrow, I think the people on this forum can genuinely relate. I also had a pet take his last breath with me. Sometimes words just can't describe the feelings well enough.

so sorry, dont beat yourself up im sure you gave some of the best days of his life. i to took the loss of my lil girl, very hard as well and i to sobbed a few times at the site of the empty cage. ( big man hug )

You have my heartfelt sympathy. I too lost my precious boy just last week. NOTHING prepares you for how you feel and you don't realise how awful it is until you lose a chameleon yourself. My first female, Lily, also died in my lap and it really is the most helpless feeling ever. I was totally unprepared and could never imagine that her death would have hit me so hard, so I know just how you are feeling. I am so sorry you lost Cash, he was a stunning boy.
 
I am so sorry that you lost Cash. These little guys have a way of getting right into your heart. Cry all you want. I've lost two in the past two month and still crying. I lost my beautiful Camille a week ago today, in my arms also and it's still so very hard.
