RIP Rango, my big boy!

Rango passed away yesterday afternoon due to an infection that attacked his body. It is unknown what the infection was or how it was caused. I will be getting an autopsy done to find out what it is that got him.

I will miss him dearly. He is the liazrd that started my hobby and passion.

I am so very sorry for your loss of Rango. I know he will be very sadly missed my heart goes out to you. He was such a handsome boy and you have some very nice photos to remember him by. From experience I know that times helps but you never fully get over the pain.

I went to the vet this afternoon, i will find out the results of the autopsy tomorrow. But right now we know he had kidney failure and a stomach ulcer.
The vet made me a little plack with his foot prints so i have more to remember him bye. Its sad to see my little guy go.

Awww, I am so sorry you lost him. They are all so special and the gap they leave behind is awful. I have lost 3 myself, and it is always so hard. Your vet sounds wonderful to make you a plaque. I have photos and old bits of shed skin to remember mine by.

That was so sweet of your vet to make a plaque of Rango's footprints. I am so deeply sorry that he passed. Please know my heart is with you during this difficult time. Hopefully the necropsy will reveal more information for you.

I am so sorry to hear Rango passed. I have seen his name on the forums for quite awhile and read the posts and knew you loved your veiled. RIP Rango. We will all miss you.

The autopsy results showed he died of kidney failure along with the stomach ulcer. The vet said he also found that he had a fatty liver.
