RO water questions

Was just wondering where some of you get your RO water for your mistking. Do you buy it at the store? if so, where and what does it look like ? I know I can buy a filter and do it myself but I rather just buy it for now but I don't know where to even look!

I get my water from Windmill purified water. They run it thru 7 different filters and don't add anything. be careful for water with added minerals for taste. Wallmart, home depot and Lowes have the 5gal jugs of water but all I found had added minerals.

Thanks for the replies !! I am interested in getting a filter but I'm actually going away for two weeks in a couple days so I am interested in buying just jugs at the moment but I contacted a local salt water fish store and they sell the water there, $1.00 for a gallon so for now it'll do and then I'll look into getting a filtering system when I am home from vacation but THANKYOU!!!!!

See if you have any windmill express near you. Its not just RO water but super filtered all for ¢35 gal or 1.75 for 5gal http://www.watermillexpress.com/locations/

Any fish store, especially saltwater stores will have RO water pretty cheap. I can get it near me from any number of fish stores.

If you are looking for an inexpensive RO system check this out.

This is the system I use and it works great! I have been using it for a couple years and it still gives me only 3-4 ppm. By far the least expensive system I have found that provides good results. You can also check out their store, http://stores.ebay.com/purewaterclub?_trksid=p2047675.l2563 , and see all of the systems they have available.

Thank you so much! I will most definitely be looking into getting that one - does it have to be connected all the time or can I connect it only when I need it to filter the water? I'm only asking because I have no knowledge of any filtering systems because my family just drinks tap water or bottled and if it has to be connected all the time my mom definitely will not allow it

I use an AquaZamp RO System.

RO is good for misting systems, it will cut down on nozzle replacement costs.

But even if you just filter your water through carbon to remove chemicals and any hard metals is a good idea.
