Psh, at this point I don't think anything is too big for chameleons. I have my new 3 month old living permanently in a free range outside on a 8x6x3' area of my screened balcony where I've set up trees, but he has access to the entire balcony, which is big. I hand feed or let the crickets climb up the screen and he eats like a champ and is doing great.

Your little guy looks great! Such a cutie! :D

WOW!!! That is big! LOL:D
Thx... He is super lax in nature but does go fast when he wants to be...

I want to hand feed him.... Any suggestions on how to do that????

He is so cute Ace! You enclosure looks good, I might just add a few more branches both horizontally and vertically and you should be good to go! Also, the hand feeding...basically just pick up a bug of your choice open up the door and hold it there for him and see if he goes for it! If he doesn't go for it at first, just keep trying. He might just need to get used to you and gain your trust.

Thx Carol for the kind words and the advice!!!:D i will put more branches

And thx for the tip of hand feeding....csnt wait...but all i have so far are crix.. should i use a worm like silkies or baby supers to try, but then i wouldnt knw if he likes them, since he hasnt eaten a different feeder insect besides crix...:p

Your little guy is such a cutie:) He's already starting to show some color. Definitely going to be a handsome little man! His new home looks great too :)

Thx so much Jaxygirl:)!!! i try to make him happy, and my hopes are high for this little guy to be quite a stud:D:p
Either way i will luv the little guy just the same:cool::D:p

awesome looking guy. enjoy them while they're little... they grow fast!:D

And how:rolleyes::p...i know the feeling, one day you see them as small as your finger, the next they are full grown, eating bigger and more insects, and are not afraid of you like when they were litte:)

I had a 2 month old veiled until he became a little over 2 years did i see him change:eek:...

yes, those are good to hand feed cause they don't jump! The silkies are very gentle and you can easily hold them. I don't trust the supers. I hear they bite, but have not held one long enough to find out! eek!!!
