Roaches, Good or Bad or in the Middle?

When they hatch they will be extremely small, so small you don't really want to pick them up by hand, using a no.2 paint brush works best in gathering them up. They will grow fast so since you don't need pure adults, maybe only for breeding, then you can feed them every other day or so to slow their rate of growth. But they will be small enough to feed a 9 month old Cham and your brevs.

Well, if they are small I will have to wait until they get bigger, so I can feed them to the Veiled.

Ok, thanks, I might get some and Hornworms. How long is the breeding time where the eggs hatch if I breed the Silkworms? Sorry the website is down when I look at it.

Thanks,

Nauphoeta cinerea (lobsters) and Pycnoscelus surinamensis (Surinams) and Panchlora nivea (green banana) cultures all originated from stock collected in Florida. They have been there for more than a century and it's not illegal to keep something you can find in your own state.

... it's not illegal to keep something you can find in your own state.
I was referring to inverts, it is illegal to keep native reptiles in my state unless you cut them open to insert a tag and pay a yearly fee.

ok so my chameleon is tired of his staple im assuming. Just isnt seeming to be interested. I want to try something new, what would you suggest for my 11 month old veiled? perhaps something I can colonize and breed so I dont have to spend a crap ton a month on his food. Crix die so fast it drives me nuts.

What is his staple currently?

Dubia roaches are great... but he may not like them. Silk worms or horn worms can be grown... but you'll need silk/horn worm chow unless you have fresh mulberry or tomato leafs around.

currently.... crix and superworms, but he doesnt seem to interested in either one. I should probably get a few different things and see which one he thrives for the most then just see if i can raise them.

Remember it is winter.... Chams slow down this time of year and don't eat as much. If he is reaching one year old he doesn't need to eat as much as before since his growth is slowing down. Try not feeding him for a day or two... he might just eat what you were offering. I give my guys all kinds of things and find that crickets are somewhat a fav. sure they love silks and HWs.... but if they haven't had crickets in a while they'll climb down and eat from my hand or cup no prob.

Blaptica Dubia is what i deal with and they are great. no smell. cant climb smooth surfaces. rarely ever fly. and breed good.
