Rotten FF cultures? Please advise.

Hi, I have never used D. hydei. These arrived like this in the mail. The layer in the middle is fuzzy like mold, some white some black. Is this a normal part of D. hydei cultures?

There are mites in all of them. One has almost no media, no larvae, and TONS of dead flies.

What would you do?

Pitch em! Mites are a huge pain! Get a refund! Sounds like it was also to hot for shipping, thats probably why the flies were dead. I have the worst luck with FF's here in S.FL. Now if I order them, its only overnight.

No there should not be mold or mites
