Rupert the Tokay

this is my little buddy 3 months old now any ideas at what his weight should be? He's pretty acclimated now to his surrounding he no longer runs off when we walk by his home he never uses the hide outs either just hang out on the back wall where he has plenty of cover from plants, the left hide is more like a feeding platform and he will go for his pot at the bottom when i go to clean which is great because i can move him into a 10 gal while i clean and it's easy for me to handle him he just walks right out and jumps on me or my shirt only for a few min then it's back in the pot and back in the home.....

Thats a good looking Tokay.. I'm not sure what his ideal weight should be. I had one as a kid and he was NASTY!!! After a few good bites I decided to use hockey gloves to pick him up (when cleaning his tank)--Sounds like your guy is a bit friendlier.

Yes that is nice looking tokay . I had two that were both almost 14 inches long. I wish i had taken pics before i gave them away they were monsters.

Thanks this my first gecko and I never saw babies sold in stores just adults more than likely wc and from research knew I'd be a chew toy.. his bark is worse than his bite for now which i would assume to be good. Lol

Can just picture big ole hockey mits... i don't know he weighed13.5 grams 3 weeks ago and i believe its time to upgrade cricket size... hopefully ill have some dubias soon crickets just piss me off lol.. thanks again

Nice Tokay, I have one of them.. He was such a little jerk but I started to handle him every day.. He starts off really man then gets really happy after about 4 min of handling, but as soon as I stop for 10 min he is right back to quacking and attacking!

Aw, he is a cutie. I have 2 adult females but don't know exactly how big a male would get. One of my girls looks like she would be a "he". She's a big girl! I love them and are my favorite out of all of my retiles, arachnids, and amphibians. Here are a few pictures of my ladies!

I know what you mean about the barks... One girl is pretty chill but the other does not like me at all, lol! Everytime she barks at me I jump.

Hey great looking tones... yea that one on the right is pretty thick lol the father of mine was huge about 13 inches Rupert is young but i think he might be a she but ill give it another month or so.... glad to meet another keeper... were they captive or wild... got any pics of their home
