RealIzeRecognIze New Member Aug 26, 2012 #2 I know you can rub coke on it with a paper towel or somethin and it will get rid of the rust. As far as painting it I have no clue what you could use.

carol5208 Chameleon Enthusiast Aug 26, 2012 #5 you could use steel wool to remove he rust. I buy aluminum cages, for this very reason.
