Sad deformity case. Smaller lower jaw

Found this baby today. My 13th one to hatch. I was really hoping to not see any deformed babies Its breathing in heavily every few minutes with a snap sound from within. I can't imagine how it could survive with the upper jaw exposed.. He was a nice light color when I first pulled him out of the egg bin.

Very sad.

I don't have the will in me to kill it so if it does survive, I will try my best to keep it alive.. I hope he has back legs and working eyeballs if he does make it.

Is it possible for him to survive?

One of his back feet looks like an elf's shoe. It hooks up. :(

Im wondering if this was caused from the several times i knocked the egg bin by accident. Hes almost out of his egg. Just the tail left. Hoping to see his eyes open. He squinted them once. I have hope.

His tail is finally out but he seems to have his sack stuck in the egg. Its a thick red line and white and it may be attached to the egg. I hope its not organs.

Hes trying his hardest to remove himself from the egg. I cut the egg open a little to see in it better.. There is a lot of tissue inside, is this a bad sign??

& Thank you!

He's still stuck to the egg, trying to get away from it. I left him outside of the egg bin for the night and it seems the egg got hard. Probably was a bad idea.

Since he's fully out of the egg with just his sack stuck to the egg, wouldn't his eyes have opened already if he was able to?

If you moistened the egg, would it make it easier for him to get free? Poor little guy. I hope someone has an answer for you. I don't have any experience with hatchlings, so I honestly don't know what would help him.

I can try that. The egg looks to be collapsing in on the sack (I think it's the sack), almost pinching it. He's still pretty active. He'll walk around and stumble on the egg constantly, give up for a little and then he tries again.

I cut inside the egg, trying to free the little thing, there is a light redish pinkness inside the egg.. I'll get a picture here soon.

Update. Still alive. Attempted feeding him/her. Hope it doesn't choke.

So is the little guy still alive? If he is you need to start food and water to keep him that way. Let me know. I have a few ideas.

I don't know if he's alive. I think I might have choked him to death with the fruit fly. :( He had his mouth open wide, he usually has it closed. I don't see any nose holes on him.. I think he uses his throat to breath, he wouldn't swallow the fly on his own.

He was very active and climbing up branches and using his tail yesterday before I attempted feeding him.

He was fully black/brown when I checked on him other then around his head. The top of his head was beginning to brown. (looking dead) I had him in my hand, putting my hand near my heater, not letting the heat directly touch him and his back before his tail started turning a light color. Can they do this when they're dead? When I moved his little arms, they went back in the same position they were before, almost stiff like. :((
