So I went to my local pet shop to grab some crickets a couple of days ago and I wasn't too happy with what I saw. This is a store that specializes in aquatics and reptiles...
This is the store that I bought my Cham from. At the time of purchase the store hat 2 veilds available. One was really small, and the the other was a little bigger. They both looked pretty good, but I wanted one as small as I could get. So I looked over the smaller one and it looked perfect. So I bought it. This was 4 weeks ago (give or take a couple days).
My Cham has grown a crazy amount in that time! He is so plump and vibrant!! I love the lil guy!! When I was at the store this week I went over to see if the other Cham was still there, and to see how it was doing. I was saddened by what I saw. This poor little guy, now a dwarf to the cham I had purchased was laying there looking pretty stressed out with his eyes closed. Very this also. I spoke to the people at the shop about his condition and ask that they have a look and see what they can do for him. I understand that a pet shop is a stressful environment, but this was just too much... They told me they would move him to a quieter place, maybe a little higher up.
This is the poor little guy in the shop (sorry for the bad pic)
