Safe Disinfectants

Hello! I was wondering what people used for disinfecting cham cages. I read somewhere you can use a bleach dilution if needed but I was curious if anyone knew if chorlohexidine dilution was a better option. And if so what % dilution.
Thanks :)

Yep, you can use apple cider vinegar if you don't like the smell but they both smell just as bad to me.

I mix a solution up of dawn dish soap (blue kind) with bleach, with water to dilute it down. I'll take the cage (outside of course) and blast everything with the water hose first then spray the entire bottle all over everything, and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes. Then I blast it all over again with the hose, and really rinsing it REALLLLLLLLLLLLY well.

Ive used this, but as with any cleaning product you must rinse throughly when done. I always rinse twice, with the second rinsing consisting of hot water. But the only time ive used strong cleaning products was when dealing with parasites. Ive also used bleach at a 1 to 9 ratio, which came by vet recommendation.

I use Eco Clean for spot cleaning and then add 10SC for weekly cleanings. Eco clean is fine to spray and wipe around bearded dragons no rinse needed.
