Safe Plant?

I've had this palm tree in the enclosure ever since I've had Drax. I've just now moved it up closer to where he hangs out a lot. And almost right away he is trying to eat it. I'm almost positive it is a majesty palm. But i just want to make sure its ok if they eat it.

I just saw him try to eat some of the soil. I don't think there's chemicals in it but its the same sol that came with the plant.

You can always put a little bit of soil on top of the container soil. Generally speaking there is a good chance that fertilizer has been added to any commercially available nursery stock. Our Jacksons seem intrigued by the soil, but I have never seen them eat it. The idea of inch to inch and a half river rocks should work. In our Panther cages we use 6 inch by 8 inch sponges to cover the soil, that works well.
