hey everyone,
it's been sometime,I was wondering if anyone knew a safe way to get
ride of water bug/roaches other then keep things clean.I'm finding them
underneath may cage where it's moist .Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Unfortunately that is a great environment for them. there is a great article about these bugs and treatments that can be used outside your home to kill them on article at: http://ohioline.osu.edu/hyg-fact/2000/2067.html (hope we are talking about same house centipedes find out which on http://whatsthatbug.com )
Irony is that the American, german and oriental cockroach are all african in origin...
Orientals are the worst... scarred me as a child.
They love the moist, dark area. Try to eliminate that - alter your enclosure so that they're less comfy. In other words, put roach traps there.
At the very least, you kill some of them.
I can't tolerate roaches (that I don't specifically order off the internet and put into plastic bins). They just ruin my day. Again, the big, black oriental roaches of Northern NJ... those are the worst. If I could have an entire species go extinct by the push of a button, it'd be them.
The orientals aren't so bad and neither are the germans ... the american cockroach... ugh, huge, ugly, disgusting, fast... Joe's Apartment was scarier than the Exorcist for me.
