Sailfins, Giant Fischer's, & a White Meller's

Here's an unusually white melleri that I got in--it's been this color since it arrived several days ago.

Here's another picture showing more of its body...

Here's one of my male Sailfin chameleons...one of my favorite species. I haven't bred them yet, but I'm working on it.

Gorgeous cristatus! I'd be surprised if that melleri stays white, it looks like it's just ready to shed possibly, or the beginning of its gravid colors. It would be interesting to see if it keeps it's colors or lays eggs.

Thanks for the kind words about the cristatus! Someone who has bred them gave me some thought-provoking advice yesterday, so I'm looking forward to giving it a shot. I'll take pictures if I can get two to lock.

Regarding the melleri, that was my original hope (that it's a gravid female), but in the past, the gravid ones I've received tended to have more visible bars with defined dots. But, that's just been my personal experience and there's so much variability with this species, who knows. It's been this color for eight days now--there's a little shedding starting though. I guess she'll let me know either way soon enough.
