Hey guys its my biggest national holiday tomorrow.paddys day an excuse for a whole nation to go on the beer and a long weekend its great.so I figured the forum is the ideal place because it has so many nationalities.I was curious if paddys day is celebrated in your town/city/country I do know that it is in many countries due to the widespread emigration of the Irish.is just like to know where and how its celebrated.now its time for me to go for a few warm up pints guinness of course

If you are celebrating it enjoy the festivities

Happy St. Patricks Day to you and all the very cool Irish people!...here in Hot Springs National Park Arkansas, we have the " World's Shortest St.Patrick's Day Parade"...only 98 ft long and over 30,000 people attend, this year the grand marshals are Bo Derek and John Corbett, all along the historic district they will have lots of drinks, parties and games, along with a kissing contest.........it is a great event and tons of fun.

First ever St. Pat's parade

Was in good old NY! ;) I think back in the late 1700's, but I'm not totally sure. Still the greatest Parade. (Followed closely by Savanna, Ga.) I never did need an excuse to down a pint of Guinness! (but that doesn't mean I wont ;)) Happy St. Patrick's Day to all the Irish (actual and honorary!) and be safe!!!

There will be a small parade tomorrow but sadly St. Patty’s Day is an excuse for all the amateur drinkers to invade the pubs, get leglessly drunk on a pint or two of Guinness and barf all over everything in the neighbourhood. I’ll have my Jameson’s at home tomorrow instead.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all our Irish members.

its the same setup here im afraid trace basically if you hit the town youll be joining a crowd of maybe 14/15 year olds drinking and falling over there are some great parades here though and a few decent pubs you can go to and have a drink in peace.
