(Sambava) Meet the Thompsons

I wanted to put up some updated pics of "Hunter Sambava Thompson" and "Mary Jane Thompson"

Hunter is 5 months (look what is coming through his 5 month shed) , his sire is El Lobo , from the Kammers. I cannot believe how he is turning out. He started showing color at 3.5 months old.

Mary Jane is approaching 6 months old.They are going to be my breeding pair of Sambavas in a few months time. She is such a sweetheart. The exact opposite of the monster of a male Hunter.

Ive raised a couple sambavas before and it seems that they startout with blue bars and they turn red as they get older to my observation

I think its the shed that makes it apear blue. They are actualy closer to a burgandy color. Kind of a Purple red color.

Check out the sambava on the Kammers website that they have offspring from. Not your typical sambava. They're both gorgeous though Ryan!

Thanks everyone. El Lobo is definitely not your typical Sambava. When hunter fires up he looks a lot like daddy. Almost solid yellow.

Yeah he sure does, it is amazing. He gets the same orange and baby blue dots just not as bright yet. The green disappears on him.

Thank you ! He is turning out great. His colors are amazing I need to take some more.

He fires up now and his bars turn orange with a yellow body. Almost all the green disappears.

he couldn't look more like his dad. I love him.
