Stewie is a year old male Veiled. He eats anything I give him, his favourites are Locust but I got some yesterday which are bigger than the ones he is used to and he hissed at it and tried to get away from it!:D any advice as I have quite a few of them

Sometimes my chameleon does that when he isnt very hungry. he will usually just puff and hiss once or twice

ok, thanks, I will leave him be, he normally eats whatever I give him, he seems to be doing a lot of growing, bless him.

Bless him! He maybe wasn't hungry, or you took him by surprise?! Were they a lot bigger than his usual ones? I had some extra large locusts and a couple shed into adults complete with wings! They are too big for Amy's little mouth, but Tommy LOVES them! It's funny to see the wings hanging out his mouth!:D:D

Have you tried Stewie on Morio (super) worms? Both mine love the newly moulted white ones! Butterworms.co.uk should be having silkworms in again soon too. There is also a new silkworm supplier in the UK. Here's a link: http://www.silkwormstore.co.uk/

A little off topic......
Can you feed silkworms after they've undergone metamorphosis and are moths?
