I haven't gotten my chameleon yet. I'm vacationing the first week in May, and will be getting mine once I'm back.

Welcome fellow Bradenton peep!

Have you attended any reptile shows either here or in Sarasota? If you have were there any chameleon breeders there? I see Tampa and Sarasota have expos coming up. I've never been to one before but just might now that I've chosen to raise a chameleon :)

I did go to the tampa show last month and their were some Chams there, but most were WC. As for breeders, no one large... There was one man there who breeds panthers and knows his $#@%. But there was CB baby Veilds and a few baby Panthers to be found.

What are you looking to aquire?

I imagine the tampa show in june will be about the same and the sarasota show I have not attended in years, but it is a smaller show.(Guessing that because its in the same location)

A few have said there should be more CB Chams in the summer, but thats only what I've heard, I don't know for sure.

Welcome to the forums! This is a great place to ask lots of questions. Have you checked out the care guides yet? They are a HUGE help!

Just remember the only stupid question is the one that is not asked.

Didn't see much in the way of red Panthers(that was then though), but perhaps you will get lucky in june:D

I will be going to the june show also, perhaps there will be another diamond in the ruff again. Last time I scored a beutiful Nosy Be baby male(Awesome Colors) The only one at the show, I was there an hour after the doors opened on saturday. The guy said it came from KammerFlauge, but who knows... I know he messed up and sold it to me for the wrong price, cause I checked the companies website when I got home and it was selling for alot more-hehe I think he confused it with the Nosy Be female price. Didn't buy her, could be the same blood.

My win!!!

Yes I've been reading and purchased a chameleon handbook I've always had an interest in reptiles but have only owned dogs. My kids are adults now so I now have the ability to pursue my interests. Chameleons are so cool :)
