Sealant on climbing structure

Hey everyone I am building an enclosure for my daughters chameleon. I had built a custom climbing structure out of oak wood. I heat treated the wood and then used a water based polcrylic finish wood dealer. I did 6 coats over a four day period then on the fifth day sprayed entire structure with Thompson waterproof sealer out of there aerosol can product. Wondering if this will be okay or can the products harm the chameleon

I am no expert in this department what so ever but 2 things I would do

make sure the sealer is water based

and

allow to dry 3-4 times the amount of time is states on the can...

Just to be safe, I'd assume that all the chemicals used in the product will, in one way or another, affect the chameleon. It'd be wise to plan accordingly....
