That is a very small chameleon to have laid such a big egg.

Have you ever gotten twins? I have hatched over 500 veil eggs and probably 750 panther eggs and never had a set. Triplets would be awesome. Probably get their own TLC show 'ponders+8'.

These are Montana - a female from Laurie's line and Jake - a male from Perry.

I thought the new egg incubation system you are using was supposed to keep the eggs a little dryer so they wouldn't absorb so much moisture and not grow much.
They look pretty big to me. Is the incubation period the same as the old way?

They are smaller, well, all but those two. But those were bigger from the beginning. I have some from this clutch on vermiculite and they were much bigger but the babies are comparable in size. This pairing is producing much smaller babies than I am used to, but it's the first time for both of them. Three are out so far, 15 more to go! I need to go get some more cages ready
