September 28th (Tues) South Bay Chameleon Keepers Meeting

I found it rather interesting and it was very cool meeting new people that know ALOT about chams... I also thought the parasite info was a good to know lesson... And nice meeting you too Criag.."action Jackson ".

Good meeting! Nice to see you all again! I look forward to every month. It's neat talking to a person, in person, who actually understand the hobby. Telling coworkers or family or friends about the hobby just gets weird looks of confusion

Howdy All,

Fun meeting! Glad to finally meet Ace :). I think the head count was on the low-side with all of the heat and everything but, none the less, we had lively discussions and plenty of feeder co-op activity.

Tylene (Ponders) suggested that with all of the new faces that have been added since the last time we had a "how to" parasite detection session, that maybe next meeting would be a good time to do another one :). So it's on the list for next time. We should be able to get a number of members' microscopes at the meeting and be able to set-up multiple "poop stations" for analysis. We'll be able to do both smears and floats. I have a video camera that I can put on my trinocular 'scope and it can connect via PC to the wall projector. It'll be like watching "Attack of the Giant Amobeas".
