Setup Complete

All finished and ready for my cham. All I need now is a live plant which I will get on saturday, and I'm ready to go. But in a thread I did a few weeks back somebody posted an excellent veiled care sheet, I really like it as it told me temps for 3-5months then 5-12 months and 12+, plus night temps. Problem is I've been saving so hard I'm probaly going to be able to buy a Panther now. So does anyone have a similar care sheet for a Panther.

YOu can use the same sheet for panthers. there care is the same.

I live in the UK and people here do well with exo terras. but I'm only using it for a juvenile, and his bigger house WILL be mesh ;)

I'v done tons of reserch and believe I'm doing it right. But I am still learning

No problem. ask any questions you have, if you think its really stupid, you can always pm one of the people here, they will always help.
and there are no stupid questions, better to aska sill question, and get it right, then not and harm your chameleon from ignorance. :D

couldn't agree more, thats why im just making sure about temps. I'm running my lights now and have my heat lamp on a dimmer so Im just tweaking temps now

OP, you were correct about care differences!

YOu can use the same sheet for panthers. there care is the same.

Panthers are from a tropical rainforest, while Veiled's are from a dryer climate, think of the climate of Yemen vs. Madagascar. Panthers require slightly lower basking temps, from 78- 88 degrees F, and much higher humidity levels, 70-75%.

I am using The Chameleon Handbook by Francois Le Berre as my guide, I highly suggest you purchase a copy for yourself. I love mine!

Thanx Kali this is what I thought. I would really like temps for 3-5 months, 5-12 months and 12+. Plus night temps. I really want somebody to post a link to the best panther care sheet going, the one that all you guys use.

The book I mentioned has the monthly temp & humidity levels you are looking for, the book is not expensive, under $20 US. If you want PM and I will type out the info in a PM.
Good luck!
