Here comes a wall of text, sorry guys! I recently purchased a 4 month old male Ambilobe Panther chameleon from Canvas Chameleons and he will be arriving next Thursday. I asked them to hold him for me until then so I could get his new home as dialed in as possible. His enclosure in 18×18×36, and for lighting I have a Reptisun 5.0 uvb bulb in the hood and a 75 watt incandescent bulb in the dome. Both are set to a 10 hour timer. The temperature at the perches closest to the top ranges between 85 and 86 degrees F. While I will be hand misting the humidity ranges between 58 and 65 with only the help of the plants and ambient conditions and around 73 with occasional misting. The bottom of the enclosure is between 69 and 72 degrees F during the day with lows of 68 at night with all the lights off. The dripper lands on several leaves before the water finds its way into the drinking glass. The live plants are 2 pothos and a ficus. All the dirt is fertilizer free and covered in large stones but I will be adding more. Apart from the one artificial vine, I gathered the others from various plants I am growing that I know to be chameleon friendly. I scrubbed them and baked them before introducing them into the enclosure. I have a little over a week before he arrives on my doorstep and I'm sure there's room for improvement so feel free to be nitpicky. Im here for the criticism! If the images aren't satisfactory I would be happy to post more/better pictures.
