Nah, it's more named after a movie character named Jigsaw, who kills his victims by putting them in unnecessarily elaborate traps. I thought that was pretty fitting for a chameleon because for all of their ridiculous features (swiveling eyes, v-shaped feet, prehensile tail, retractable tongue), they still end up eating the same prey that a leopard gecko would eat. I know there are evolutionary reasons for those features in the wild, but in captivity they just make for an amusing spectacle.
